Day one was a huge success! The morning started bright and early with all of the kiddos up and fully engaged in fitness. We got to take in the sights on our morning run and even checked out a local market for dinner supplies. Upon our return Nanna and Captain taught us all about the boat and the kiddos were eager to learn! After lunch we dove straight into job duties and the boys all did an excellent job fulfilling their roles. Cartel, CJ, and Ta’quan did a full deep clean of the galley. Charles and Jacob swabbed the deck. Micheal and Brinson worked their magic in the engineer room and Zack got the staircase spotless! The boys all moved as a unit and worked together like a well oiled machine. We capped the night off with dinner and practiced gratitude and balance by expressing our favorite parts of the day while also acknowledging the challenges presented and how to move forward with grace. All in all it was a beautiful day full of knowledge, productivity, and purpose.
